    Frozen Empire Engineer Build

    Hiya,

So, was working on this as well as my afterlife build which has been a longer than expected project if I am honest, but think it was worth the wait (thought I was done, then found extra pockets! - always the way)

So, the basics of this are that I purchased a black tru spec flight suit from GB Fans, I also got the arm patch from there, which has then been fairly comprehensively broken down by a local seamstress I was lucky enough to find and she actually works on Doctor Who in the costume department which is pretty cool!

I Have also purchased a black pistol belt and Engineer badge. For the boots, when they filmed FE, basically the extras turned up and just wore what they had on so there isn't particularly boots to find, that being said, I did manage to identify the orange boots seen in the film as sthil chainsaw boots. I have purchased a pair but they are quite tight around the top of my calves and cut the blood off basically so went for something a bit more comfy.

I have included some reference images (courtesy of the Ghostbusters Reference Library which is an invaluable site for GB pics and has been complied by the ISS very own Stu Thompson who is just a legend) which I have circled some key bits on.

Basically, the tru spec needed a badge clip, pen pocket, elbow detailing, poppers and additional leg pockets needing to be added.

Reference Images (Grey leg hose can be seen in most of these but it is slightly different to the normal ones seen on the standard uniforms:

Left arm detailing (only just about visible)

Closer pic of the elbow detailing and arm cuff poppers:

Some pockets and poppers (will also provide some further pocket shots which show some of these better)

Pen pocket - there is an upper and lower pocket each with 3 individual slots making 6 slots in total, you can also see the badge holder additional loop in this pic:

    Lower leg pocket:

More lower leg pockets - this shows one large horizontal pocket on each leg, with a pocket on an angle on the right leg just above the large pocket which is more or less level with the large pocket on the left leg:

and this is what I managed to put together - although I have just added the thermometer and holster (holster courtesy of Do-Ray-Egons and it is awesome)

Hopefully you'll notice my little sneaky nod to the past as well
