• Clear Roles: Define whether you are collecting "on behalf of" the charity or "in aid of."

Conduct While Collecting:

• Be Professional: Always represent the charity respectfully.
• Honesty: Be transparent about how donations will be used.
• Follow the Law: Ensure fundraising activities comply with legal standards.

Do’s:

• Wear charity branding (if available).
• Provide receipts upon request.
• Inform donors of their rights, such as cancelling a donation.

Don’ts:

• Do not pressure people into donating.
• Avoid misleading donors about the charity’s purpose or funds use.
• Handle money responsibly, following proper procedures.
